GCLD Ltd is an independent, industry leading, event lighting design consultancy, based in the UK.
We provide expert lighting design, management, programming and technical installation for a range of live and virtual events.
Founder and Lighting Designer, Gary Collins, started his career in theatre in 1985.
From small and artistic beginnings, he has amassed a highly creative, diverse and global portfolio of work across all sectors; including international corporate events, commercial installations, private weddings and celebrations, concerts, performance, broadcast and more recently, virtual stages.

GCLD is a small and thriving creative studio, based in the UK Surrey Hills.
Gary Collins is a designer of lighting solutions; skilled in the art of crafting beautiful, memorable and atmospheric environments.
Gary’s approach is to manage all of his events with care and consideration.
He is passionate about his work and delivers every project to the highest level.
Clients are partners. Solutions are design led, tailor made, crafted to budget and technical specification. Operators and technicians are hand-picked from a loyal team of proven professionals. He is known for his creativity, technical knowledge, wealth of experience and tenantious attention to detail.
With his affable personality, Gary has generated many exceptional and long-term client and supplier relationships throughout his career.
